You planning on offroading much? Honestly both are good. But i think RE is a bit higher quality but its also a bit more expensive. Depands what your planning to do and what your willing to spend.I wouldnt recommend the super ride. Jus spend a bit more and get the 4.5 super flex. Your gonna get bored of 3 inches and your gonna wanna go higher.Plus the super flex better for offroad than super ride.

ya but that means i got to get a SYE and a CV driveshaft and all that crap. and i know if i go that big ill want a long arm kit too. i plan on going bigger in the future after ive gotten the rest of the heap how i want it...right now im just looking to remedy my sagging *** end and go with something with a lil more flex. i really dont do the wheeling/rock crawling neccesary to justify a 4.5" kit....yet

Get the rubicon
I have the RE 3.5 superflex and it netted me about 5in in the front and almost 5.5in of lift from my old stock springs
I know the 33s added to the height so dont take my numbers as exactly what you will get

you got 5" off just the kit? no spacers or shackes? and i assume youve trimmed the hell out of you fenders to fit 33's......ive heard the RE 3.5" kit will actually get you around 4"...enough to tuck 32" tires with minor trimming. is this true? and if so does that mean im going to have to get a TC drop kit to keep the vibrations at bay?

oh and yea, no spacer and no shackles, but mind you, my springs were pretty worn out, and my old tires were 235s

look at my photo album, I didnt have to really trim that much, just take off the fender flares, and I didnt drop the TC or get an SYE and I dont really have any pinion angle issues, and the only real vibrations are from my tires at lower speeds

I have been driving my Jeep like this with no TC drop or SYE for about 2 years

From what I heard is that 3 inches you won't need a sye or t case. My 4.5 is about 5.5 at first but settles down abut 3/4 of an inch in a couple of months. Depends. I have the 4.5 with a t case drop and no vibes at all. I probably don't even need the t case drop. I'm thinking about taking it off. So don't worry about that.

Anyways to the OP, you can always lift it and drive it around and see how it feels and if you have problems just go back and fix it with the tc drop

I have a mixed lift. I have rubicon springs up front and RC shackles with a full lenght aal and resprung. I sit around 3.5ish inches and I have bad angles. I has to shim the rear and do a t case drop to fix mine. But then again all jeeps are different.

ya i believe your issues are caused by shackles, which change the pinion angles at the springs. all could be corrected probably by getting new rear spring packs...just a thought

You guys stating no vibes all have pre 95 XJ's, they changed the transfer case outputs making the driveshaft slightly shorter resulting in vibes with LESS lift in the later XJ's.
OP, opt for the transfer drop and 3.5" lift and sell/swap for 31's. Or save a few more dollars for an SYE and a few more parts... but if it's not gonna run rocks you might find that the 3.5" will suffice on scenic backcountry trails.
RE is a quality kit, superride arms are gonne be less manitenance and no clunking when the joints need service. I would opt for adjustables though so you can dial in for the best suspension geometry.
