So after I get my brakes worked out, I am looking to add a lift kit. My first choice was the rusty's offroad 3" with add a leaf kit. But after seeing they wanted near $100 just for shipping, I have been looking at rough country's lift. I am only looking to run 31" tires, so what would be recommended? Anyone run this lift?

being a 90 xj you should really look into full leaf packs you will get a much better ride quality and function from them than 21 year old spring and the added pressure add a leafs create on old springs

I bought a Rough Country aal 3in kit but after seeing the aals that came with it I went to my local spring shop and had them add three inches to a set of stock springs. If I had it to do again I would have bought Rusty's kit. In my opinion your gonna get a better deal in the long term with Rusty's, don't forget a 1" drop transfer case cross member.

Jason (<click it) has been nothing short of spectacular for everything and there is a huge difference in customer service and quality of the parts.

I've run Rusty's, RE, Skyjacker, and RC. I prefer RC big time. Customer service is better, spring packs don't seem to sag and they take all the abuse I can throw at them and come back for more. Definitely do a spring pack. The aal I put on my first Cherokee was a waste of time. Sagged and broke the springs in about 2 months.
