Rough Country 4.5?
I am planning to purchase the RC 4.5in full spring kit this weekend for my 99. But I'm not sure now with reading about a few guys saying that they had to get the adjustable control arms and the drop mount trac-bar setup just to properly align the front end.
Is this considered a requirement? I figured I could get away with the kit, T-case drop and maybe some shims for now. Then do the SYE soon and be done. I just want some of your guys input.
Thanks.

Thats what i did and i have 10,000 miles on my lift and it is still perfect for alignment. I do have both pinion seals in my axles leaking though but idk if thats from the angle of my drivelines or what but yea. NO problems so far withh it. Good lift id say.

6" Brake lines, and the adjustable track bar.
When i lined mine up it didn't look like enough meat in the bracket to redrill it so i just bought the track bar it was cheap like 60 bucks and i can still go higher and just re adjust the track bar.
The brake lines are necessary IMO. My lift is def bigger than 4.5 even though it is advertised as a 4.5. the rear brake line is like a rubber band even with the relocation bracket. The fronts you can prob get away with but id get the longer ones.

Mine is doing great. Had one issue with the coil springs and waiting to hear back from them about what they are gonna do for me. Other than that no complaints. Worst thing is that the directions aren't the best. The worst was how long to make the trac bar. Just adjust it out the distance you are raising past the minimum. ie it should say like adjustable trac bar for 4-6 inches of lift. So for a 4.5 inch lift adjust it out half an inch from the end.

I don't know why I didn't pay any attention to the x flex setup before. It looks like you save money. Does that kit come with the order style or new style quick disconnects?
