Thanks, noted.

What we have here: http://www.ulmart.ru/goods/537747#tab-properties
The price is about USD 36 per 4l can.
I wonder if it's the same oil...
Officially Shell offers only Rimula as HDDE oil.

How about some good recommendations for a 2.5l in Florida? Still go with that tractor oil?

The 4.0L is a 2.5L with two more cylinders

Thats whats keeping me from using it in my 01 with California Emissions. Way to many cats on that thing to risk it. Penzoil Yellow Box seems to have very low iron wear with various 4.0 oil analysis over on bobistheoilguy, and it runs very quiet and smooth in my Jeeps, so thats what I run.

ZDDP can only harm cats if your engine is burning oil. If you don't burn oil, your cat will be fine. Not that I'm telling you to switch from PYB, Bocefus; PYB is awesome and what I currently use.

PYB looks pretty slick on paper. I agree the wear numbers are great.

All engines burn oil - how much depends on your rings. Additionally, any substances present in engine oil are sucked up via the CCV system as vapors.

I suppose I should have been clearer and said that it's only a problem if the engine burns a lot of oil. I've used A LOT of T6 over the years and never hurt a cat's functionality.

You should add pancake syrup to the thread title. I poured some into a clear measuring cup for the first time and it looked just like pancake syrup. I was surprised how dark it was. Got me hungry.

It'd be really hard to tell. The drop in phosphorous content is 100% to get more life out of catalytic converters. Like I wrote before, using something with original levels of phosphorous will yield original catalyst life. So no biggie.

Yes, American "pancake syrup" really does resemble motor oil! lmao

Rotella but not Jeep related. Used it in 2 Honda trx250. Won't have extended results for a bit, little side jobs. With wet clutch cycle/atv as long as oil is SM or less, it's good to go.
Less than $13 a gal at Wally World did both with a bit left for adding. Way less than Valvoline ATV or Motorcycle oil ($6qt)

Side note, anyone ever read back of 30w non detergent oil?
