Default Rookie with some questions.

I know this has been discussed before but I can't find any concrete information on this site. I've searched for about 30 minutes and came up with some similar information but nothing set in stone. I'll make an introduction thread later because I'm excited about my XJ but here's my problem.

When I use my turn signals, the light on the instrument cluster will light up, the signals will light up, but they will not actually blink. They work, but they do not work.

Now, I've read and searched and a few people say replace the Multifunction Switch, replace the signal/hazard fuse, and replace all the fuses and crap.

Obviously the hazards work and they are on a separate relay, and I understand that, and it's not a problem because they work.

My second question is about the blower motor. The actual motor was replaced by the previous owner but it does not blow anything. He was saying that I could wire up a switch to make it work but let's be real, I'm not going to ghetto-rig anything up to make a blower motor work. I was talking with the guys up at Advance Auto and he mentioned that the resistor could have gone bad that the resistor usually goes bad before the motor actually goes out. Does that make sense?

Any help would be appreciated and helpful.

Thanks

Taylor

1) i would replace the flasher for t/s prob.

2)start with checking voltage at blower motor, then check plug at resistor assy. then if still not working check plug at back of blower switch. ive found then melted & burned on many cherokees in my shop.
usually if the resistor is bad the blower motor will work on high only. but connector at resistor could be corroded? theres my $.02.
hope i helped a bit

Bare with me because I'm by no means a Jeep expert yet and it's slightly different from the scene I am use to. I'm a Honda/Acura enthusiast but my family in Utah insisted that I buy a Jeep so I did, an XJ lol.

1. Are you talking about the 9 pin out Hazard warning fuse? This part: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...roductId=69839

I will check that out tomorrow, because it should be easy to fix. Where exactly is that located, haha?
