Well you can just peel them off and run without them.
Or you could peel them off, lay them flat in the sun (hopefully take the curve out of them), and then put them back on with double sided tape.
Or you could peel them off, lay them flat in the sun (hopefully take the curve out of them), refresh them with some Krylon Fusion, and then put them back on with double sided tape.
If you are going to put them back on I would do something about your roof first.
I took a slightly different route.
I had mine Line-X'ed. Was having some pieces done and throwing those into the mix they charged me an extra $10 for all 4.
I recommend using the good 3M VHB 5952 tape. Expensive but worth it. That stuff is no joke. Make sure you are right where you want to be when you go to put them on.
Also recommend the 3M 06396 Adhesion Promoter and the 3M 08984 Adhesive Remover.
The 3M Adhesive Remover is great. Little goes a long way and it does not evaporate quickly.

Shop around you probably can do better then the prices above.

I would remove it and throw it away. It's a moisture trap. You are better off without it.

Double what Ralph said. That 3M stuff is the business. Make double sure the pieces are exactly where you want them to be permanently.

I used the doubled-sided 3M to apply new splash shield behind my door panels. The stuff works great !
