Default roof rack lights

What are you guys running on the front of your roof rack for aux lights? I'm not looking to break the bank, just a little extra light on the deer infestted back roads in this area. Thanks

I had roof lights on a Dodge pickup years ago. My opinion is that aux. lights mounted on your roof do only one thing well. They light up your hood so well that it's difficult to see anything else on a dark night. If I was in the market for more lights, I'd put them on the bumper for sure!

My $0.02 worth.

I agree, I had a light bar on the top of my cj-5 windshield frame. They really reflect the hood and a dirty windshied at night - causing poor vision. Mount your lights on the front of your xj.

I have 4 BAJAs on my roof. Slide your rail back a little and they wont light up your hood. But 100 xs on the BAJAs , I love them. And if you rip 1 off then your not out a whole lot.

here is my set up,, used bungee cords to strengten it

if you point them right, they won't glare off the hood,,

I know if my lights were on the front bumper, they would of been destroyed
