Roof Rack assembly
I just purchased a roof rack for the jeep, just an oem one... i understand how to mount it, but does anyone have any ideas what size screws or what i should use for the hardware. My jeep did not have a rack and i have built a basket for it and would like to put it up.... mounted to the rack. Just curious on hardware... bolts, rubber gromets, silicone, sizes.. im just not sure what to use ?

I just pulled my factory roof rack off. As far as the roof rails they were siliconed in with little 1/2 inch screws. the 2 main rails ha 3/4 hex head screws. hope that helps.
