Default Rollcage?

So my brother, friend, and I bought a new project xj this weekend. Ill get pics up as soon as I can. We were looking into putting in a full roll cage.

Two questions: What are some good pre fabed ones to buy?

Where could I find plans on building our own?

Thanks..

Only ones I have seen done were done in a shop where they custom fabbed and cut each piece seperate from the rest. There are kits but I don't know anything about them personally. Maybe someone else may have a link or two for you.

That is a really nice cage. From what I can see that is one of the best prefabbed kits I've seen. The price is not bad either. Man that gets the wheels turning!! Thanks for the linky!!

They are sweet , and you can't hardly build your own for that price. I try to build everything myself but couldn't justify after I saw one of their cages.

Keep in mind COS it will add some weight to the XJ, thus you will need more power. Aaahhhh I see a supercharger in your future.

Unless your Baja racin more horsepower is just going to break more driveline parts , gears are the ticket.
Throw all the useless options out and you'll lose almost as much weight as your gainin

Here is a couple pictures of the beginning of the build. I picked it up Saturday morning because a friend couldnt bring it back home. His wife wouldnt let him bring another jeep project home. He has two MJ builds in progress and she wasnt going to let another one fly. So I told him I would take it off his hands . So I bought it for $100. haha its a steal. With the fender trimming I can stuff 35's under it, but i do think it has some bastard packed rear leafs that give it 2-3" lift. I will keep everyone posted but heres the pics:
