Default Rock slider question

I have a 2000 XJ and am planning on putting a lift kit on, the problem is the previuos owner must have tried to change a tire and got the jack in the wrong place and dented the rocker panel in front of the rear wheel ,only cosmetic damage. I was wondering if anyone knows of someone that makes rock sliders that rap up around to the bottom of the door jamb or would it be better to modify a set myself. Any ideas?

the only problem with sliders like that I think, are that since they wrap around and bolt just below the door is that dirt and mud and stuff can get in there and you cant clean it without taking them off. and that over time will probably lead to rust.

if its just cosmetic and not rusting, then why worry about it? it's hard to wheel a jeep and not get dents haha. it's gonna happen.

Not to mention one little "Ah ****" and then your doors won't open and close right anymore.

HD Offroad engineering made some for me.

Mine were rusted through so I wanted something that was strong and would make it look stock again.

1/4in steel welded to the pinch seam up to the edge under the door. Many people doubt them but I have taken them through some pretty tough trials and they have held up fine just needed to repaint them every know and then.
