But you may also have better luck at your local auto/exhaust shop if you don't mind getting most of the system welded instead of bracketed.
Apparently i need to hit a casino with my luck then. Ive ordered a ton of parts from Rock Auto and never got a wrong or mis packaged part.

I still cross shop though, ill have rock auto, napa, and Amazon pulled up on my computer when parts shopping and go with whoever can give me the better deal with the brands i want.

OP go find a local independent exhaust shop in your area. Preferably ran by some old codger lol. Theyll do quality work and probably be a good bit cheaper than any prebent system out there.

Replace that cat before it leaves you stranded like it did for me. As for rockauto I ordered my new cat for $100 but the o2 sensor port was on the wrong side so I had to do a lot of extra work since the flanged ends were on the wrong ends. When I ordered the wrong CPS I just had to pay return shipping and that was it. When they sent me a part that said it would fit but didn't they paid shipping and I was fully reimbursed. I've also heard stories of Rockauto allowing people to return stuff after the return period is over. I've found that the savings are worth the extra shipping charges, especially if you order in big number of parts like me.

Plenty of people have. it's when it goes wrong that you find out what they are really made of.

I'm willing to forgive any vendor a screw up or two. Auto parts, restaurants, you name it. I don't get bent out of shape about honest mistakes. We all make them.

But once the mistake is made, how does the vendor/store/restaurant/whatever handle the mistake? That's what separates the good from the bad.

I've had vendors give me full refunds. That sure makes me happy. I've had vendors split the difference with me on something, and I was happy with that. I've had vendors stand on the letter of the deal and not make any adjustments, and I've been happy with that, because they did so courteously. I've gone back to those vendors.

But call me a liar for reminding you that YOU looked up the parts and YOU said the parts would fit, when you DID, and I am never giving you any business ever again.

And that is exactly my experience with RockAuto.

Huh, that's unfortunate. Like I said when they sent me a part that didn't fit they fully reimbursed me.

If your cat is glowing, you probably want to make sure you're not running overly rich and going to burn up the replacement.
