the shift solenoids are in the tranny, there are 3 of them and they are 20 - 30 dollars each.

I wouldn't, right before a road trip is not the time to be messing with suspension.

unless of course it's to fix something...

Ya I know. This trip is just really short notice, I guess I'll have to get two alignments

1) You can do the alignment your self. I got my with in 1/8 " the guy at pepboys told me after I lifted my 4.5".

2) why do you need an alignment? Is your jeep tracking all over the road? Death wobble? What? You maybe able to just 'deal' with it and save yourself a good 50 or so bucks.

3)
A. if your lifting your jeep do not fix the sway link. There is no point. It will be too short once you lift your jeep.

B. Don't go Tokyo drifting in your cherokee and you will be 100% fine with out a sway bar. Lots of people do.

C. I drove my jeep stock for about 3 months with no sway bar. Drove it like a 16 year old boy. No problems. And now I've been driving it since November with out one on 4.5" and no problems. Now driving it like a 16 year old boy is kinda scary in mine now lifted. Hahahaha but its just some body roll....I mean its not a car by any means.

3. Sorry to hear about your grandma and thanks for protecting us!

4. Just my .02 take it or leave it. Haha

How do u do an alignment? My jeep pulls to the right. I'll just be doing a budget boost.

My YJ is sway bar-less. I'm used to driving it like that. But I want my XJ to drive as stable as possible, that's why I bought it.
