Default Rim width?

I have 30''x9.50'' tires and I'm about to buy new wheels. I was wondering if its possible to run a 9.5'' tire on a 10'' rim in stead of an 8"? I am upgrading to 33''x13.50'' when these tires wear out, but I really don't want to buy new rims twice. Advice please

Run them on the rims you got and buy new ones later with the new tires.

I could, but I have an opportunity to have my mom buy them for me right now. I guess I could just get them, then just not use them until I get new tires. But is there anything wrong with putting a 9.5" tire on a 10" rim?

Get the wheels but I have 31 10.50s on 8 inch wide wheels and would not put them on 10 inch wide wheels. I have seen them on 10s and they just don't look right. If you are getting 33s you might as well just save the wheels until you get the tires.

Ok. So they will be able to be mounted, but they might look a little weird. I think I'll get them mounted and see what they look like. If I like the way it looks I'll leave them on, but if I don't I'll just put them back on my stock wheels. Good thing I can get my tires mounted and unmounted as many times as I want for free lol
