Default Right tail light won't work on 98 Cherokee classic but everything else does

I have a problem with my right side tail light on my 98 Cherokee classic. It won't work but everything else does. Any suggestions to how to fix it. I have already replaced the bulb

check fuse 23 on the junction block, or fuse panel located on the passenger side, right side wall.

Also check ground, and keep in mind the socket itself can go bad. Get busy with a test light or meter.

The ground wires for all three lights are spliced/fused together inside the taillight harness near the connector, so if the other two lights are working, the socket is the first place i would look after replacing the bulb. The connector is right behind the rear side trim panel, near the floor.

If you have cut quarters or any rot holes near the wheelwell on that side the harness usually becomes mud covered. One I pulled apart recently a couple of the pins we'd so corroded they ripped out and are stuck in the wrong side of the connector.
