If someone has a good way of cleaning the inside, i would love to hear it haha
i have hurculiner on some exterior spots and it is almost impossible to clean with all the texture it has, but my inside is done with the duplicolor bedliner. is goes on with a different style roller then hurculiner and it dries smooth, there are little bumps but nothing like hurculiner. and stays blacker longer (maybe because its never in the sun to get faded?)

like x1994j said, the tunnel gets hot as hell so hot that i can't let my foot rest on it barefoot for more then a couple of seconds.

Why not put a rubber mat over top the trans tunnel. Thats what I did. Nice and cool.

If you are wanting cheap and easy, then do it, but in my experience its not all its cracked up to be. The cherokee floor looks horrible, you have to move wires that for some reason the factory ran under the carpet and are stretched when you move them elsewhere. Also the floor channels hold water that a carpet usually soaks up. You think you will dry it but in about a week you will get tired of it and let it sit getting on your clothes, running all over the floorboards, and eventually driving you crazy. Also, the combination of heat and water could very well cause a cheap spray on liner to peel eventually and look like crap. Oh you will also find that your XJ leaks like a sieve so the water thing I spoke about will be pretty much a permanent thing.

Again, its functional, but it would be my very last resort if I only had $50 to do it with. I put in the rubber floor which was a huge pain, but then I put in the plastic floor liners over it which are great! You may want to line it then put in the plastic liners.

Again, I'm a big fan of the Husky Liners. For about the same price, you could do a cheap can-spray liner it then put the Huskies in. Just keep in mind it my peel, but now a days you can re-spray over it and it will still stick.

Generic carpet is cheap too.

My first cherokee I had came with a full set of Husky liners on top of carpet. Those liners are awesome! Fit perfect and very tough. My second cherokee has a bedlined floor, but I missed my liners so I had to put those on top.

Almost the same as Herc., but comes in a variety of colors and is UV protected to maintain color. They'll send you a free sample chip too. A properly prepped surface willn't peel.

Mine was done like that when i bought it. I love it, cause i'm always going quading and we're jumping into the cherokee covered in mud. Never have to worry about carpets.

is it true that the fumes can be toxic when the floor board heats up? Im planning on doing carpet, but was going to maybe do the hurculiner under it to prevent rust and what not.

Not that I'm aware of. All the solvents come out pretty quickly so I can't imagine it being too toxic once dry.
