Default Rewiring Walmart Baja Lights?

Hey guys,

So the wire leading from my battery to the switch in my cab is...uhm...unusable...anyway i need to make a new one and since i've got the freedom to make it safe(er) I've got a couple questions.

1. What wire should i use and where can i get it?
2. What type and rating of fuse should i put on the line?

Thanks Guys

I didnt install a relay. I just used the factory wiring and it was a single wire with an inline fuse that ran straight from the battery to the switch. Should i add a relay? How do i do this?

30 amp needs to be 10 guage wire at least. No good to put a fuse in undersized wire, the fuse won't blow before the wire starts to melt.
