after replacing everything in my fuel system, we noticed that sometimes we have 14+ volts going to the fuel pump and other times we have about 5-6 volts aka wont crank up and after it does crank up it will eventually go back to 6ish range and shut down, which my idea is bad wires or there shorting out somewhere, would running he fuel pump to a toggle switch inside my xj be a problem? just run from the relay to a switch then to the pump, or could i bypass the relay?
