when I start my 92 Jeep Cherokee 4.0. There is absolutely no cold fast idle. I have to put my foot on the gas and hold it there to get high idle and warm up my engine in the morning when its cold. then as soon as the motor is warm it runs fast. 1200 rpm.

 

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.
