Retreads???
A buddy at work today pointed my tires out and me never looking at them never thought that they may be retreads.
I bought them second hand from Dudeinaxj and he swear that they are not. Hell I got a good deal on them so I ain't sore one way or the other but would like to know what yall think. After closer inspection from me I believe they are retreads here is a picture tell me what yall think.

Ehhhh... I dunno, I don't think they are. The tread and sidewall look made for each other, and the side-biters line up perfectly.
digdug, I run retreads on my Jeep, so yes - they make LTs, and damn fine ones at that.

i dont think they are retreads....they usualy dont retread LT or passanger car tires. in michigan i belive it is against the law, only big rigs....i work at a tire shop, and LT tires dont have much rubber between the belts and actuall tread, also retread tires (like big rigs) will say regroovable on the sidewall, but this is only my experience...

That "seam" isn't all that telling really. Some tires are just made that way. If you REALLY want to know if they're retreads or not, inspect the tread and look for a horizontal misalignment across the tread pattern. If you look at the pic I posted, you can see the little flap of rubber where the two ends of the tread sheet were pressed together, almost at the very top of the tire. If you have anything like that, or a row of lugs that seems just a little off alignment-wise, you might have a retread.
Most retread companies will put their name on a tire somewhere too. Mine say "Tread-Wright" every 6 lugs or so, between the longer side-biters. Some companies brand the tire next to the bead, or elsewhere on the sidewall.
