Default Restricted Exhaust...2" Lift...

After taking off my rear sway bar today and preparing for some homebrew disconnects tomorrow, I noticed a substantial dent in the exhaust pipe just south of the manifold/cat connector junction (the connection where the manifold connects to the pipe that goes to the cat). I'm gonna conservatively estimate that the dent is causing 30-50% blockage....how's this affecting my jeep? I know enough to know that it is probably significant, just wondered if anyone has ever dealt with something similar???

4.0 Auto, btw. Stock for this week, getting ready to order a 2" and slap some 31" Courser C/T's on it..... if any of this is bad judgement, let me know too! Thanks in advance to ALL!

Just take the downpipe to your local muffler shop and they could possibly make you a new better flowing one.....

And as for the lift you should be good im goin this route as well you might have to trim the fenders tho.......

Most XJ's have the dent from the factory. It is for clearance for something but I know alot of people that have had one made without the the dent and I think there are a few after market down pipes out there also.
