Reskinning seats
I have a 91 2 door, as most of you know its darn hard to come by a set of seats in good condition for one, so I'm considering taking a set of seats from a 4door and then taking both sets apart and to make a set in good condition for mine. How hard would it be to take the upholstery from the good set and put them on mine? I realize I'll have to cut and sew some if it is possible.
The cover for the seat bottom is easy to change. Check this thread for info https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/84...acement-23010/. I have pulled the cover off of the seat backs before, but only to disassemble them for the trash. Did not pay enough attention to give you any helpful info for the backs.

If you dont have a bad lean to your seats. I would say clean them relaly good with upholstery cleaner and make them smell new. Then throw a nice seat cover spec for the cherokee so that way you got new seats that smell good. Thats what I will be doing when I actually get my exterior fixed.
