As many of you know the renix iat is discontinued. Has anyone had any success using a resistor to trick the ecu??
I'm having trouble finding any renix stuff at the JY's in my area so I'm trying to explore my options. Have a few people that I pick their brain as I've been fixing my xj up. One suggested this instead of scouring JY's for 30 year old sensors (yeah they're getting THAT old) if your not lucky enough to find one that had been replaced and is only 10 to 20 years old lol. I know some say doing this can greatly improve hp and fuel efficiency but I remain sceptical of that. Just want an option that doesn't involve buying USED sensors.

A guy on Comanche Club found a compatible one.
