Resistor Ballast

i am having problems with the fuel system and i have checked everything i can. the previous ownere hot wired the fuel pump to where it will stay on. i drove it after i disconnected the wire(didn't no it was a hot wire to the pump) and it cut off on me numerous times. i have a feeling its the ballast resistor. can somebody show me or tell me where it is located at. thanks.

Engine: 4.0, bolt ons for days...

should be to the right (driver's side) of the airbox in the engine bay, right in plain sight.

93 does not have a ballast resistor AFAIK
I think they where only used in renix jeeps

You have a ballast resistor, its on the inside of the driver's fender right in front of the firewall and looks almost identical to the one that Defiance's jeep has.
