resistance in ign coil

resistance in ign coil
anyone got the accepted range of resistance found in the ignition coil?
edit: I removed the coil on the jeep, took the pos lead from the multimeter and placed it on the coil output and the neg to one of the pins on the plug side. both pins showed the same resistance. I believe I was on the 20k setting. old cool showed almost 15 and the new one was 9. just curious if that's normal or what. I was replacing the coil regardless. the old one had multiple cracks some of which big enough to see metal through.

check the autozone on-line how-to section. There's a couple of different checks to run. The exect specs elude me at the moment.
