Required Reading

Are there any technical manuals, books, etc. that are good to have around if you're an XJ owner? I'm curious about anything from technical manuals to off-road driving techniques.

Factory service manual. Critical if you are doing any repairs.

Ebay sometimes has a good deal on them.

Thanks for the tips everyone!

What about these 'Jeep Bibles' and stuff? Anyone get into those? Most of them seem geared towards Wranglers.

Got this book the other day. I think it does a great job of explaining basic engine, transmission, suspension and lift stuff to beginners like me.

The back cover says that the author is a Cherokee Forum moderator! Is he still active?
