replacing steering knuckle..help..
Can someone point me in the right direction of a writeup to replace the knuckle. I've looked several times and came up short...thanks in advance

Engine: 4.0L
1. Remove tire.
2. Remove brake caliper.
3. Remove pads and rotor.
4. Remove axle nut (36mm).
5. Remove wheel hub (3 bolts in back).
6. Pull axle shaft out (Carefully to avoid damaging axle seals).
7. Remove both ball joint bolts.
8. Use a hammer to get the knuckle off.
Should be close to everything.

What about the tie rod...will that just unbolt or does it need to be pressed out? And when putting the new knuckle on how do I seat the knuckle on the ball joints...sorry never changed one myself before

Unbolt wack with a hammer. Pay careful attention what your hitting on drivers side because the tie rod will bend like a pencil.You seat it by tightenign the nut on the ball joints. Type in jeep ball joint replacement on youtube and it will show you all the steps you need just stop the vid after the knuckle removal.
