Replacing rear temp sending unit

I'm gonna replace the rear temp sending unit at the head. What is the best way to go about that without snapping it. Can I spray it down with penetrant beforehand or should I not do that. Anyone with tips and tricks and good advice lmk please

The body and hex should be all brass , so not super breakable. They don't usually rust in. Use the correct size socket or wrench and don't twist on an angle. use gentle force and it should come out

Yeah I was able to get it. I was probably more nervous then I should have been but I just didnt want to have to deal with something like that. Thank you
