The difference is the RB model doesn't have the plastic tanks. I did notice slightly cooler temps at idle in traffic during this 100 degree Memphis heat. But I flushed the old stop leak out of my engine and heater core, replaced the water pump and t-stat and all then hoses. But like you said, not much difference except now the cooling system is in top shape and I don't have to worry about my plastic tanks leaking at the most inopportune time...like they've been known to do.

i just did my radiator the tuesday after the 4th of july with a spectre premium autozone one. Napa sold the same one for $29 more so i said if napa carries it, then it must be reliable. Plastic end caps.Came with a limited lifetime warranty. It ran 210 religiously befor now it runs 10-15 degrees cooler. I even did the better 70/30 mix. Just added more antifreeze than water with no measuring just did it. now i dont leak/drip. Love it. well see here in the next yr tho.
