Default replacing the oil pressure sending unit

Hi everyone,
this is my first post! I recently bought a 1992 xj 4.0HO with 172k on the odometer. starts and runs great, loads of pick up and go, problem is a serious oil leak that I believe is coming from the oil pressure sending unit. From researching other posts on this forum and cherokee talk it seems to be a common problem and one easily broken. I'm postin this to see if ya'll good hearted jeep owners will respond with maybe a walk through or pitfalls to avoid and what kinda tools do I need? I'm not a natural mechanic, but I can follow directions pretty good! I'm gonna post some pics of my new jeep in a bit, thanks a bunch!

Oil pressure sending unit is located on passenger side of motor near distributor. It's easy to change just unhook the wire and unscrew it, all you should need is a wrench ( not sure on exact size).

I would clean the area around the oil pressure sender and the oil filter adapter and make sure where the leak is....the adapter is famous for leaking...there are good "threads on this site" for replacing the o-rings on the adapter if that is what it is....changing the oil pressure sender is no problem.....disconnect harness...remove sender with special socket or just a wrench if you don't have one....clean area....pipe tape on threads of new one and re-install....be careful not to over-tighten as the 90 is brass or should be....
