replacing missing ac compressor
Thinking about trading my TJ for a Grand Cherokee that has had the compressor "removed". Owner says only compressor was bad but did not want to replace it, so it was removed.
What am I getting myself into??? I'm thinking $1K+/-, but what about surprises.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Might get more help if you post this question in the Grand Cherokee forum. You can virtually replace every single component in the a/c system for under $500 if you had to, so $1k+ would scare the crap out of me.
