Default Replacing lifters, should I replace the cam as well?

So I have narrowed down my engine knock to a stuck lifter. I am going to be replacing them soon but was wondering if I should replace the cam at the same time. I know in my old school days, it was recommended to replace both because the cam lobe and lifter build a wear pattern. Also, while doing this, should I replace the oil pump as a preventative measure?

I would... Mainly for a higher lift one... lol
Chances are if you had a screwed up lifter it took some of that lobe with it too.

I would do the oil pump.

This is the one I am thinking about since it comes with everything I need.

New lifters on an old cam is ok. Old lifters on a new cam is a no no. Just what I was always told. I've used new lifters on an old cam in my CJ 7 and had no problems. (lifters were all gummed up)

When you get your lifters out inspect the base for excessive wear. If it does then plan on replacing the cam too.

Your problem could also be a flat cam lobe perhaps. How did you determine it was a stuck lifter? Did you pull the valve cover and visually see the rocker not moving as much as the others?

doing that this weekend. All the other tests we have done to eliminate the possibility of rod knock have been done. I guess I should say we are leaning towards stuck lifter. I am doing a lobe lift test this weekend to determine the shape of my cam.
