I plan on doing this by my self and i already know i will need some penetrating oil, gaskets for my exhaust manifold, and of course the actual header. However, it seems that my header is being bolted to the block with the same bolts that the intake manifold is being held on with. Will i need to disassemble the entire intake as well? if so, any help on how to do it would be much appreciated Thanks!

Yes, the intake has to come off first. It really isn't that hard, and the are surprisingly light once you have it off.
