Not, that is in addition specifically when dealing with injectors that have angled spray patterns (as not all injectors are a straight style stream)

Not going to index injectors on an XJ 4.0 any time soon I think. The injector connector wiring is only so long and won't permit turning the injector very much. Besides, the injector connector itself won't permit turning it more than a few degrees.

Stock '99+ injectors flow at about 225cc/min @ 43.5psi the Caravan 007's run at about 220cc/min @43.5psi.

No. The older 3.3L Caravans had the injectors spaced far apart because they used a larger aluminum intake manifold. So the 3 injectors in front of the intake have to spray back towards the head and the 3 injectors in the back have to spray forward towards the head.

The newer 3.3L Caravans have a plastic intake cover and all the injectors run in a line up the middle of the engine and spray downwards so the spray pattern of the injectors is straight out. The only disadvantage is you have to remove the whole intake manifold cover to get at them.

That sounds totally fine to me. If one never sees maximum flow the O2S should be able to figure that out.

By the way Programbo, do you have the flow numbers for the aforementioned Ford injectors kicking around? For comparison's sake.

They are in the wimpy side flow wise. About 204cc/min @43.5psi. They are basically the same as the Ford "yellow stick" ones. But since newer XJs have 49psi on the fuel rail they put out a bit more than that
