Default Replacing factory seal patch?

Howdy,
When I used to work at Chrysler Jeep/Truck we’d have these soft patches that would go on the sheetmetal joints before paint, and then cure up hard in the paint ovens. I have a leak at the top of my D-Pillar, and the patch that covers the Roof/Quarter/Roof Bow joint looks like it cured badly. It’s all broken up like a desert mud hole in summertime. I figure that’s the most likely point for water intrusion.

Can anyone recommend a repair material, aside from bathroom caulk? I never knew the name of the material we used at Chrysler, nor where I’d find it or how i’d Get it to cure.
