Default Replacing Engine Brackets at the same time as the motor mounts

My motor mounts are trash so I plan on replacing with the brown dog kit which includes the engine brackets. Is this a DIYer job? I've replaced mounts before but never the engine brackets. Can I just replace the brackets at the same time as I do the mounts? I.e. do I just lift the engine slightly with the jack and replace both the motor mounts and engine brackets at the same time or do I need to take the engine out of the jeep to put the engine brackets in?

Looked on youtube and the only thing I"ve found so far is how to replace the motor mounts themselves but not the engine brackets so I'm a bit lost.

Thumbs up

Do one side at a time. Start with the driver side(the Brown Dog directions will say the same thing) Do NOT completely unbolt both sides at once.

i highly recommend the Brown Dogs Rubberflex. I have had them for about six months and love them

I would say there is enough room to put the brackets on after taking the air box out.

I would not Spend the $ on the brackets unless you do serious off-roading though.

I loved those brackets and will get them again. It is a DIY job, just be ready to get your hands dirty and have a jack and a 2x4. Relatively painless job, one day will get both done.
