Default REplacing clock spring can I relign the steering wheel?

My '99 has been aligned a lot and the steering wheel rests to the left at about 10:30pm when going straight. I need to replace my clock spring and figured it would be the right time to aim it back to 12 when I put it back on. Is that doable?

the steering wheel is adjusted by spinning the adjustment collar on the draglink (bar from Tierod to pitman arm)

Cool. Thanks. Will adjusting it mess up the alignment I just got?

usually the shop should adjust that when they do the alignment. But it shouldn't hurt anything. Just make sure your wheels are straight and then adjust the collar until the steering wheel is straight.

Agree with this. It's one way to do it. Since you know where it normally rests going down the road, you can line it up pretty well using this method.
