I am replacing seals and valves on my 98 XJ air conditioning system. The valve kit comes with an entire high pressure service port. Is the port even removable on the Cherokee? I tried to give it a light twist with a wrench but I don’t want to really gouge it up if it isn’t designed to come off. Any pointers would be welcome.

I would have to chase down the correct valve tool. My Schrader valve tool (tire sized) doesnt reach the bottom of the high pressure port.
