Oil in intake ports on manifold and head
I am in the process of replacing the cracked exhaust manifold and when I pulled the intake off it was full of oil buildup around the inside of the ports, and the ports on the head has some thick buildup as well. Ive scraped it all out of the intake and washed it out with a powerwasher and some degreaser and its somewhat cleaner. The head im scared to mess with for obvious reasons. Is there a way to clean the head ports out? And is there an explaniation for the oil there? The valve cover gasket is leaking and its getting changed now aswell along with the CCV elbows. Anything else that could cause it? Thanks.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
It could be from the CCV port on the intake, but chances are it's just the normal carbon and gunk that builds up in the intake on fuel injected engines.
