Hi all,
2000 XJ 4.0 auto
Where you can you buy replacement fuel lines (hard lines)? I need to replace the one that connects the main fuel line coming from the tank to the rail itself. There's a small bracket that holds the fuel rail to the side of the intake manifold and mine sprung a leak right there at the bracket. I temporarily cut the line in half and slid some rubber injection hose over it with 2 clamps, but don't want to leave it like that.
I might also need to replace a rusty fuel vent tube back by the vapor canister, but I think for that I can just make my own (no quick disconnects, just rubber hose on both ends).

Thanks guys, upon researching further apparently this is a pretty common problem. Everyone seems to agree that replacing it with rubber hose (like in Ralph's link) is acceptable. I basically did the same thing but only replaced a section of the hard line vs. the whole thing.
It looks like for an OEM replacement it's $70-80, doubt it's worth it.

I wouldn't use OEM anyway. If I were going to replace hard line (fuel, transmission, or brake) I would use cupronickel and make it myself.
