Default Replaced PCV Elbows. Still Leaking.

I recently replaced both pcv elbows because they were leaking pretty good. I checked a week later and its still leaking, although not as bad. Any ideas on why they're still leaking? 98 4.0. Thanks.

Did you change the grommets? If they are old/hard as rock they don't seal.

Make sure the hoses aren't clogged.... If they are clear, then you may consider looking through Cruisers tips for the one about modifying the valve cover to lessen blow-by and also make sure there are no sludge backups in the cover....

Do you think Cruiser's Renix tips will help the OP with his '98 XJ?
