Default Replaced CPS and Jeep still stalls out

I just replaced my CPS and went out on a test drive. It still stalls out when I am coming to a stop. What else could cause this problem?

Are you having issues starting it sometimes, and will it stall only when coming to a stop, or just letting off the throttle in general?

I don't think the TC is staying locked up and it does it hot and cold. It starts fine and it does only stall when coming to a stop either fast or slow stops. I have been reading and wonder if it could be the IAC causing all of this. I am going to try and clean it later today if I get the chance.

it is real easy to clean, you might as well take your whole throttle body off and clean that up as well. If you IAC is really dirty, your TB will also be quite dirty.

I want to do that but I have a question? Is there gaskets I will need to replace? I tried searching the auto part stores and was unable to find a gasket for the throttle body. I just don't want to get it apart and be stuck because of a gasket as the Jeep is my daily driver

it is a paper gasket. ($1.99) Most of the time reusable but if it is your stock gasket change it out....

Also if you switch to neutral and come to a stop does it still do it?

I'll have to try that out on the way home and see. The thing that bugs me is as it doesn't do it all the time. One day it might not do it period and the next it might stall at every light I come too. The conditions are always the same as in weather or moisture it doesn't matter. I was thinking about a vacuum leak so I ordered the Emission hose assy from Summit to see if that will help any. The ones on there do need replaced so it wont hurt any.

This is sounding more and more like IAC and/or TPS issues...

X2
I'm a mechanic for chry/jeep/dodge and this def sounds like a tps problem. But scrub your tb as well better idle and smoother acceleration will follow.

1. Clean IAC and throttle body. They get carboned up over time and miles

2. LOAD TEST your battery. A very common symptom of a marginal battery is "stalling"
