Default Replace ignition coil with tuneup or not?

Say if I were about to do a tuneup on my 1996 XJ, with wires, plugs, cap, and rotor, should I replace a functioning (no issues) ignition coil as well? It looks like two bolts and an electrical connector (easy) to replacing this part. Around $50 for an OEM replacement of good quality.

What are your thoughts? Any advantage to putting in a new ignition coil at tuneup time when the old one is still working fine?

If they are cheap unlike the 2000-2001s...I say go for it. Just get a quality one.

No, I wouldn't. Pretty rare they fail. I DO carry both a drive-line and a front axle U-joint. Shoot. Can't you buy one of those jumper packs for $50? I'd get something I want when the stores are closed or too far...first
Or a nice chain. Fire extinguisher. Flairs....

How many miles on your 02 sensor? Your final fuel mix depends on that thing working right.

Unless you are buying it from a Chrysler/Jeep dealer, you aren't getting OEM. You are getting OEM-spec aftermarket. None of the aftermarket coils are as good as the factory unit, in fact many are considerably worse. I'd leave it alone unless it's causing trouble.

Both O2 sensors are factory originals.

So would I. The factory coil will last the entire lifetime of the engine in many cases.

Replace both upstream and downstream oxygen sensors? Or, just the upstream? Again, no issues, just trying to do some preventative maintenance and gain some MPGs in the process.

I replaced my coil at 129,247 miles. It fixed a stumbling during heavy acceleration problem I had.

Edit: I guess my coil didn't last the lifetime of my Heep. LOL
