Default Renix No Crank Help!!

So my 89 XJ 4.0L had the no accessories (blower, radio, cig lighter, etc). Only had accessories in ACC so i replaced the ignition switch on the column. While i was at it decided to replace my lock cylinder with a new black one since my old one stuck sometimes. Got it back together and it wont crank now. I jump the relay and the starter cranked. So the starter is good. I tried a new relay and nothing. I am suspecting the Neutral Safety Switch but it always started fine before in P or N. Help me with this i need my jeep back before some snow comes.

I've never done it but I think there is an adjustment..involving the rod from the cylinder. I looked but couldn't find what I saw before. Can the switch be moved up?...Also guess you found, if it cranks when you jiggle the shifter in park or neutral while holding the key turned, your NSS is gummy.

The switch can be slid up and down the column for adjustment.

i think my nss could be cleaned as it did start when wiggling before i changed the switch. but i think maybe it is the switch needing adjustment. i will try to adjust it and let ya know how it goes.

Those two /\. are a couple of the sharpest on the site. This link also has testing info.
