Renix fuel pump resistor
If I bypass this fuel pump resistor by the air filter, will the higher current to the fuel pump result in a higher fuel pressure at the rail? I realize that the pressure regulator is what sets the pressure at the rail, but that would only be if the fuel pump could keep up with it.
I am going to be reworking a ton of that wiring stuff in that quadrant and I would like to just get rid of that resistor so I don't have to relocate it.
Would you consider it safe to just bypass it?

No. The fuel pressure regulator takes care of the pressure.
Extremely safe to remove. It's only there to reduce fuel pump noise.
