The egr which is gone, any vacuum lines which might have a leak else where, but this isn't an option since I've capped every vacuum line with no change in idle, and the throttle body which I've adjusted the screw where I let it all the way out and then turned it back till I saw it barely barely move.
Throttle blade actually closing fully? centered? Take it off and hold it up to the light and see.

Got the new o2 sensor in and it's swinging correctly and the idle is a little smoother and a little lower. I'm headed out of town for the end of the week, but when I get back I'll try swapping the throttle body off another Jeep to see if it idles better

False alarm. Drove it back to school and now it's idling high again with the stock TB on it
On the bright side though the new o2 sensor was swinging perfectly and it stayed in closed loop the whole way back.

I read the thread some time ago but I dont remember all of the details. The first thing that comes to mind in recent reading is to look at the EGR system removal. Is there a block off plate? How was it sealed? Is air getting by the block off somehow? How about a cracked intake manifold? I am assuming when the stock throttle body went back on, it has its own idle air control valve, etc? or was that switched from the throttle body taken off? New throttle body base gasket each time?
