If thats a plunger on the end of it, its some kind of position switch, and the only place I can think of is the tcase.

proportioning valve switch and the connector? Does the boot pull off?

It's either that or the overpressure switch for the flux capacitor.

I just changed my prop valve for rear disc upgrade that's not it with non ABS, not sure what a the ABS system would have. It isn't anything that would hook up to the BA 10-5 transmission not sure what an auto Renix would have. I have had mine stripped to the bone and never saw it on an 88 5 speed.

Yes that must be it-Bendix 9 ABS prop valve (swapped it) -thanks alot!
