I searched for the answer but perhaps I'm not asking the right question, I am removing the intake and exhaust manifolds but I cannot pop off the throttle body connecting rod without breaking to plastic rod end and so is there a simple trick to this or am I simply not trying hard enough?

 

Disregard, I managed to pry it off, not too pleased with the design but what can you do.

 

Slide a 10mm open end wrench in there and pop it off. Same thing's been used on cars for years.

 

So how do you reconnect it? Mine is off, seems like no matter the pressure i put on it, it won't "snap" back together. Keeps coming off anytime i move the throttle
