Default Removing sway bar links help

Okay.. So today I went to install my front swaybar disconnects. First thing first, removing the sway bar links.

Bolt is a T-55 torx head. I soaked it with PB like no other, and busted out a breaker bar, then a torque wrench. The bolt would not move, ended up breaking off a piece of the torx head, and we gave up at that point. Any suggestions on what to try next?

You can use a pitman arm puller. You will have to cut part of the bolt off but the pitman arm puller will push it right out.

Like they said, cut off all but 1/2-3/4" of the threaded side, heat the heck out of it, then use a tie rod or pitman arm puller to press it out. Most parts store have them for under $15.

I use a harbor freight cheapy like this ^ I bought for $7 and it has paid for itself about 1000 times over. Price on the hf website is still only $10, so they are cheap.

What would I use to cut it off? would I make the cut where the nut is on the threaded side?
