Default Removing bumper cap bracket on97+?

I removed my bumper caps and can't figure out how the bracket is removed. I know it's probably simple but I would appreciate some help

If you mean that piece that is welded to your body... well... it's welded to your body . Gonna have to cut that puppy off

It's actually riveted on. Why would you want to remove it? If you decide to remove it just drill out the rivet heads.

thanks thats what i figured and the reason is that im leaving my bumper caps off due to my new rear bumper and bw fender flare
