Remove this switch
I got this switch from a busted column at the JY. I tested it using the FSM testing procedures and it tested good. The only problem is I can't get my old one off. I disconnected the wiring but I cant get the shaft to actually disconnect from the actual blinker switch. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

It's splined and just pulls out. If it doesnt want to come maybe a touch of penetrant can be used and wiped clean after.
I have rebuilt a few columns, never had too much issue removing.

Yeah I got it out. POP and then it came out. The one at the JY came out easily. However my cruise control still doesnt work. The old switch was definately bad. It failed every test from the FSM. I also tried 2 different servos.
